Projects

Projects are the building blocks of test case management in Testify. Each project generally corresponds to a single application or product. Within projects you can create and manage test cases, test runs, and milestones.

Every project has a unique "identifier" which will be used in the identifier for the project's test cases, runs, and milestones. Each identifier must be between 3 and 8 capital letters. For example, if your project's identifier is PROJ, then the test cases will be PROJ-C1, PROJ-C2, etc. The test runs will be PROJ-R1, PROJ-R2, etc. The tests within the test runs will be PROJ-T1, PROJ-T2, etc. The milestones will be PROJ-M1, PROJ-M2, etc.

Every project also has an icon used on the UI. There are a wide variety of icons to choose from (and you can choose any color!) so please choose an icon you like!
